Is idea being to expand the standard, with this design corners can be negotiated, enabling a room to be fitted out completely.

                Is a stand alone unit, strong enough for most tasks.

This smaller unit has all the strength features of the standard designs, and enables larger spans to be built safely.  two or more units used in tandem form the basis of a sturdy little pedestal workstation with enormous strength.
